The tyres are the important parts of automobile driving system, the merits of its performance will directly affect the safty and operating efficiency. When tires roll on road, internal high temperature will destroy their internal structure, and may cause tire burst inducing irreparable loss for persons in car if the internal temperature be high extaordinarily. In order to obtain tire temperature field distribution, a wireless tire temperature acquisition system is designed here.Based on the wireless communication technology, the sensor technology and micro-controller technology development, the paper designs the temperature acquisition system of tire based on wireless communication. System can be reliable and accurate, timely collecting internal tire temperature, and has the function of data storage. Meanwhile, it can provide reliable data for the future analysis for the study of temperature field of tire. Different from the traditional tire temperature monitoring, the system is characterized by realization of the tire internal temperature of more collection.The wireless tire temperature acquisition system consists of temperature logger, temperature receiver and PC management terminal composition. The temperature logger consists mainly of sensor module,micro-controller module and RF module. The radio frequency module designed to select the nRF905 radio frequency chip, realized in the short distance wireless transmission. Temperature receiver constists mainly of micro-controller module, RF module, display module and serial communication module.This paper analyses the principles of radio communication module and make a simple frame format data communication. Low power design mode reduces whole system power. Hardware and software anti-interference design greatly improve the stability of the system. In software design, digital filtering technique is used. VB6.0 is used to design the software of supervisory PC to produce user interface, historical curve and printing ect.According to the function of the system, the design of hardware and software were completed, and passed the actual test. Test measurement results prove that the system is correct, reliable measurement.
