Research On Inventory Management Subsystem Of ERP Based On SOA

As the economic globalization of information technology and enterprise development, the group needs for changes to the quick response. Enterprises need to make the quick responses for changes. Inventory Management subsystem of Enterprise Resources Planning is a process which can be reasonable allocated, which is related closely to other management subsystem such as finance, stock, quality, workshop. Inventory management subsystem has some disadvantages of the poor flexibleness, the long development cycle and unable to adapt to changes in the enterprise business process of the changed management system. To solve these problems, this paper studies SOA architecture to achieve better inventory management.Good inventory management method of the routine work will promote the function.This paper has researched on inventory management subsystem of ERP based on SOA.The main work has done as follows:(1) This paper has researched theoretical system based on SOA, firstly analyzed the relationship among the service providers, the service requesters and the service registry center. Then the thesis has researched three kinds of operational business processes which including publishing, finding, binding. The paper has analyzed granularity, coupling characteristics based on SOA, finally researched the principles of inventory management subsystem and inventory management subsystem related technologies which based on SOA as well as the relationship between inventory and other subsystems.(2) The paper adapts object-oriented analysis and design methods and software system layered ideology by researching the theory based on SOA, which has architectured the system based on service oriented architecture. The architecture is divided into four layers: the user layer, the service layer, the business logic data layer and the access to data layer.The paper studies the web designed service orchestration, which has diagrammed work flow.(3) On the basis of analyzing the principles of ERP inventory management system, the paper has designed function modules of the system and divided granularity from the function modules, which depended on different businessed as well as devised information processing on inventory management and the operation flow. The paper has designed the business processing based on inventory management, and has designed fine-grained functional module business, and has devised the In/out inventory data flow chart.(4) This dissertation uses SQL Server 2005 software to design the database of the system and develops the system stored procedures depending on different business. The paper has designed the user demanding analysis, the view of the database and the user permissions, the basis table of the database, database E-R diagram, designing of database logical structure. The paper designs the view of database. This designing has reflected data security, business process flexibility and simplify the complexity of the data.(5) With the tool platform of Visual Studio 2005, the paper uses the C# programming language and Web Service to build the function, which has realized the inquiry service of inventory management subsystem of ERP as well as XML dynamic invocation services.
