Today, content, applications and services trend to be more and more open and be merged together in different contexts.'Ubiquitous computing'mentioned by Weiser in 1988 is becoming a reality:one user, multiple computers; different common form of distributed information processing equipment and seamless user experience. In this environment, users need to use the network and services in interrelated devices, through different interfaces and different backgrounds. In order to achieve their goals, users tend to need a combination of different applications and tools, and use them in a broad and vague eco-system.This paper demonstrates the phenomenon that user experience trend to be information-centric under the influence of SNS and real-time services. In this context 'Activity-Centered Design'mentioned by Donald Norman which had been widely accepted is no longer a good enough design principle to solve the user experience problems, because user experience itself is a kind non-linear result which is accidently caused by system debris and components. The result is closely associated to user goals and intentions at a specific time, in a specific scenario and specific case. This paper discusses information-centric interaction design base on user goal-oriented design proposed by Alan Cooper, Robert Reimann and David Cronin; and illustrates cellphone interaction design thinkings in this context with the consideration of its cognitive characteristics and UI features. In the end, the paper describes the cellphone interaction design practice on Android platform which is recently launched by Google. The underlying software architecture of this platform emphasized the importance of information. The final design is obtained through user research, persona and scenario, and user goal analysis. This scheme takes full advantage the characteristics of Android platform, and weakens the concept of independent application in traditional mobile phone interaction design, tried to construct interaction experience characterized by real-time update of social networking service and communication through comments.
