. RFID (Radio Frequency Identification, RFID) is technology of automatic identification using radio wave, and has been used in transportation, supply chain, access control, production management, and other industrial applications in recent years. RFID middleware is the central part of in RFID systems, and it plays an important role in rapid deployment and reliable operation of RFID applications. The mobile intelligent terminal, integration of RFID technology, can not only open up new markets and services, but also can expand to each terminal device through the RFID to form a common type of information computing environment. So the RFID technology is hoped to become the development of mobile the basis for computing and mobile networks. RFID middleware for mobile computing can be deployed rapidly and effectively to a variety of heterogeneous RFID handheld terminals, to solve the various problems of mobile computing in RFID technology. This paper's work mainly includes:(1) Analyze features, models and key technologies of RFID technology into mobile computing, and identify design ideas of core issues. Make a study of EPC Global standard specification and Java Message Service specification, which is a design basis of the RFID middleware architecture.(2) Do some in-depth research in embedded environments of RFID handheld devices, design and implement an embedded RFID middleware that follows the standard of EPC Global. The embedded RFID middleware has implemented component design of software modules in the overall framework by agent-based mechanism, hierarchical management. So it effectively solves the difference of heterogeneous devices and achieves high reuse of software code. And in the statutes of data processing and high-level event, it follows specifications of application layer event, and provides the functions for defining data rules, data packet filtering, and report publishing features.(3) Research the key technologies of data storage, communications, integration and synchronization in mobile computing environment, and then describe mobile computing overall framework and design ideas for the RFID middleware. It realizes each core system in the environment of wireless communication, specifically including the modules of embedded data management, network resource management, security management, heterogeneous data integration and so on.(4) Research the key technologies of data division in the RFID handheld terminals, the definition and serialization in mobile services, how to customize family affairs and collision detection. So it proposes lightweight data synchronization model architecture, and realizes the synchronization mechanism based on real demand scenario. It takes an effective pressure test through large-scale simulation in mobile services.This paper provides new ideas and methods reference for the framework design in RFID middleware, and how to make RFID technology apply to mobile computing environment design, development of application system.
