The subject is made under the background of digital circuit automatic testing system of Xi'an Ruiri Electronic Development Limited Company. An digital circuit automatic testing system based on LabVIEW is designed and realized according to the technique demands, and it can satisfy the demand of testing seven different circuits: CAN, IBE, OBE, EFCS, LEF, AIN and DIO. By analyzing circuit automatic testing method at home and abroad, a testing system is designed based on LabVIEW, NI board and PXI bus. Based on the problem that traditional testing method is not reliable and maintainable, a new testing scheme of using the rapid and steady board is presented. Based on the problem that the traditional testing method is bad in durability and visibility, a testing method of using the innovative and visible software LabVIEW of NI company is presented.As to the hardware, an automatic testing system based on PXI bus, NI data acquisition board and relay board communication network is designed by analyzing the testing object of the system. In the system, PXI bus, NI data acquisition board and relay board is the core of control. In the network, there is a lot of hardware including PXI bus, 18 slots PXI bus crate, and so on. The main-adapter, sub-adapters and power part, which can satisfy the demand of data acquisition, are designed with these hardware.As for the software, in the compiling environment innovative and visible software LabVIEW of American NI company, the software is designed, and the hardware configuration and all the functions of the system are realized. The visible testing front panel is designed. By programming the bottom drive layer and parameter adjustment, the basic voltage, current and time measurement can be realized according to users'demands. By using the event structure, five testing models can be realized to test the circuit. By using the technology of Active X, the testing result can be preserved into Excel.By installing and debugging the system in the field, it is can be concluded that the system can run stably, and all the expected functions have been realized. Therefore, the design ideas turn out to be correct. What's more, by the practical applications in the field, it is proved that the system can promote the production efficiency of horizontal continuous-cast devices, and can guarantee the quality of products, and the effect is satisfactory.
