RFID(Radio Frequency Identification)is a technique of automatic identification without touch. Since 1990 s, this technique has experienced widespread development and is applied to objects tracking, personal management and small payment, which acquired high security. With application field expanding, security of RFID system attracts increasing focus.Due to the restriction on hardware of RFID’s tags, the traditional complex cryptographic algorithms and authentication protocols cannot be applied. So the security of RFID system is unreliable, which brings potential threaten. There is no recognized and uniform encryption and authentication protocol to secure the application of RFID system until now.Faced with the no authentication of RFID system’s security, this paper designs a test platform for its security using software radio and LabVIEW. The software radio technique is applied to process the transmitted and sampled signals. And the computer executes the support of different air interface standards. The platform tests the resist ability of known attacks through communicating with RFID reader and tags or sending commend frames and data frames. At the same time, the security test platform is able to passively detect the communication between reader and tags and seek the possible leaks of RFID system’s encryption and authentication protocols with analyzing the communication data.As the core of test platform, the test software is the key component of the whole test platform. We use LabVIEW to accomplish the software development. The problems of unrecognized imitated signals and unrecognized detected signals have been solved. As a result, we achieve the communication of test platform, readers and tags, and also the data detection of RFID communication process.
