Internet of things has become the third wave following the computer, Internet and mobile communications network for the world's information industry. It is a value of 1 trillion information technology industry after the Internet. M2M is the main manifestations of the Internet of Things at this stage. China 3G era has brought a broad space to M2M wireless communication module development. This is an M2M system application. It is designed to use the 3G network to build a wireless hub transition system. The traditional IPSec VPN users were tired of the high cost and the complexity of the IPSec VPN solutions.3G wireless hub transition system can easily help customers build faster and use the LAN resources safely. "3G Wireless Router-mServer-Wireless hub transition Windows client" works just like as an infinitely long cable. It connects the LAN where the wireless hub transition Windows client is in and the IP terminals which are connected with 3G wireless router. It works like the IP terminals are connect to the LAN directly, and then communicate freely. This paper mainly studies the implementation of the 3G wireless router, the process to build an embedded Linux development platform and transplant Bootloader, Linux kernel, file system to AT91SAM9260 architecture, the use of 3G wireless module, the use of IPTABLES to set routings, the implementation of network Packet Capture application on the Linux OS and Windows OS, the implementation of NDIS Virtual Miniport NIC-driver, and so on. This solution is a low cost, stable communication quality, high security, easy to use, reliable characteristics.
