Design And Impliment Of Main Control Software For TD-SCDMA/GSM Dual Mode Terminal Test Set

In Jan 7,2009, the Ministry of Industry and Information issued 3G licenses to domestic Mobile Operators.Since then, TD-SCDMA systems entered the commercial phase officially in China. In order to transfer from GSM to TD-SCDMA smoothly, terminal manufacturers from both domestic and international have begun to produce TD/GSM dual-mode terminals, in order to meet users' needs and fit their habits.In this process, the development of dual-mode terminal test set is essential.The main contents of the thesis are as follows:First, to give an overview of the existing TD-SCDMA terminal test set. Second, to analyze the requirements to implement the main control software.Third, to discuss in detail the design ideas and implementation methods.Finally, to make a summary of the whole thesis, and describe research directions in the future.The object of the thesis is to research and develop TD-SCDMA/GSM dual-mode terminal test set based on the original TD-SCDMA terminal test set.The main task completed by the author is to implement main frame of main control software, GSM calling sub-module, GSM Measurement sub-module, and switching sub-module, including requirement analysis, software design and coding work.Based on the knowledge of TD-SCDMA and GSM systems, and consistent test theory, the tasks were implemented under windows platform, using Visual C++6.0 IDE. In the phase of requirement analysis, the functions needed and the indexes were determined using function-oriented method.In the software design process,the main frame and GSM sub-modules of main control software were designed using object-oriented method.And flow charts,function descriptions,as well as class descriptions were used to explain the design proposal.In the last, the coding work was completed with C++.The main control software of the TD-SCDMA/GSM dual-mode terminal test set was attested to be good performance, and fully consistent with the function indexes.
