Analysis And Design Of Student Management Information System

Student management information system is an essential part for the management in colleges and universities. It is especially critical to student-related workers; it can provide them with adequate information and efficient means of inquiry. It provides a strong technical support for both the administration and the comprehensive evaluation of the students.With the continuous development of science and technology, the maturing of the programming language, its powerful functions have been acknowledged profoundly. It has found its way in various fields the human society, and is playing an increasingly important role. Information, together with materials and energy sources, form the essential factors for the survival and development the present age. The effective application of information technology, to strengthen information management and employment, is essential in accelerating the process of informationization. As part of the application of computer technology, the use of computers for student information management has many advantages. For example:the rapid retrieval, convenient access, high reliability and large storage capacity and low cost. These advantages can greatly enhance the efficiency of student information management and the management quality of student work. Meanwhile, it is a necessary requirement for college student work in the aspects of information management, networking and science employment.This paper is fulfilled with the guidance of the theories and methods of Management Information System and the technical support of the database. This paper first discusses the background, purpose and significance of choosing this topic. And then depicts the features in programming and exploring the technology of language and database. In addition, this paper spent much space on the needs analysis, general design, specific design and implementation of the system. The final system design fulfilled Management Information System for the student-related work of colleges and universities. This designed system is capable to accomplish the functional requirements and objectives of the development design.
