Design And Implementtation Of Student Management System Based On J2EE In Shanghai University Of Engineering Science

With constant reforming and development of higher education, university student management generates plenty of new projects, and at the same time,is faced with great challenges and opportunities.The recruitment scale enlargement of university contributes to the gradual increase of the number of students in the charge of student managers all or different levels. It requires the managers to devote not only more time and energy, but also more manpower and finance to adopt traditional manual way to deal with daily business. Student cultivation mechanism’s being flexible catered for the requirement of university cultivating comprehensive talents.However, flexible cultivation mechanism leads to the disunity of students’ time in class and after class.Student administration department,owing to the constant change of cultivation mechanism,will certainly decrease the time of communication with students and understanding for them,and is bad for mastering first-hand information of students as soon as possible.In addition,most colleges and universities have multi-campus presently, students’ management in different campus requires that students’ affairs managers have to keep rushing about among several campus,which causes effective working hours decreasing and working efficiency lowering.Aiming to the actual demands of students related work and combining with the characteristics of students related work,this paper introduces that the university student management information system is designed on the base of J2EE development platform by adopting Oracle database.Firstly,the paper mainly explains its background and research significance,and concludes the current research situation of university.Then, it mainly introduces some related technologies and the exploiting of system’s major structures,and makes a specific explanation for the demand of university student management information system.Finally,it states how to design and how to implement the system.The implementation of this system increases the level of student management and working efficiency as well as provides a convenient and fast service for the whole campus.It releases managers’ working burden, implements university student management to be data informatization,process informatization and decision-making informatization and eventually achieve the purpose of data sharing automated management and intelligent management.
