CMMB Operation Support System Desing And Implementation

China Multimedia Mobile Broadcasting (CMMB) is a mobile television and multimedia standard developed and specified for Hand-held TV by the State Administration of Radio Film and Television (SARFT). CMMB has become the focus of attention as a breakthrough in wireless communication field aimed at network convergence. It is not only the critical process that establishment of operation support system to meet people's demand for mobile multimedia broadcasting quickly, but also the decisive factor of healthy development of CMMB industry chain.CMMB uses the advanced concept of Next Generation Operations Support System (NGOSS) for reference, establishes a special operation support system for CMMB network.To make use of the limited resources available for the management of operation support system in more than 300 cities nationwide, the design proposes an exercisable system architecture with a reasonable implementation modality. The thesis takes a comprehensive analysis about operation mode of CMMB network and then explains the design and implementation of operation support system. It details the implementation Business Operation Support System (BOSS) and Conditional Access System (CAS).
