The rapid development of network technology has promoted the innovation of network education, besides setting the appropriate learning content, evaluation of learning outcomes is also crucial. Examination is the most important means of evaluation, with the popularity in national network education, to help students prepare the online testing has become an important part of network education teaching platform.Currently online teaching support platform is not yet mature, and through the analytical thinking of some teaching and examination systems, we found that many systems, although has beautiful interface and even itself contains a high technological content, do not fully take into account the actual needs of education or teaching. In this paper, the student self-test system uses the educational technology and network technology to change the traditional mode of teaching assessment, allowing students to study courses at any time of the election self-test assessment, realizes the timely interaction between teachers and students, meets the needs of teaching and education management.This paper begins by describing the theoretical basis for educational measurement, discussing the relationship between measurement theory and exam item bank building, taking a brief overview of J2EE,YAML, Quartz technology. Then, based on the conventional software development process, in turn discussed the system requirements analysis, system design, implementation of key modules, including automatic test paper, paper pre-cache, examination time control, formulate strategies papers in the detailed design and implementation of the module, system testing other four stages.Among them, test strategies management for teachers module overcame some deficiencies of the previous system that consist of one simple strategy and can not be manually modified, teachers can flexibly make the test strategies according to different needs,and can specified one particular strategy as the current exam strategy in a series of strategies list. In addition, the algorithm for automatic test paper has been optimized, and did a new attempt to promote the efficiency of the test paper by adding the papers pre-cache, significantly improved the efficiency of the test paper, shortened the responses of students waiting for the page of time. In the time control function, in addition to a complete examination time control, used the task scheduling framework for dealing with open source scripts submitted, but also added a Pause button and other features to enhance the user experiences.Test results show that the entire system fully functional to meet the student self-test of the functional requirements, is a practical, easy to use, reliable and low cost network testing system, and also has some significance as reference for further enhancing and improving support of network teaching platform.
