At present, the informationization level of many large and medium enterprises are high, but due to technical barriers and lack of long-term planning or other reasons, widespread "information island" has become the bottleneck for those enterprises'further development. As the manufacturing industry gradually moves into the era of customization manufacturing, systems integration, information integration, decision support, cost reduction have become the survival and competitiveness of manufacturing enterprises, in order to meet the fierce market competition requirements, enterprises and solution providers are engaged in the research of information integration solutions.As an important information tool of modern manufacturing enterprise, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is a comprehensive management information system after the Enterprise Resources Plan (ERP), Customer Relation Management (CRM), Supply Chain Management (SCM). but also a new business strategy, and has been predicted for the future development direction of enterprise information management. At very beginning of PLM proposed, it had prevailed over the traditional information system. The concept of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) proposed, as well as the introduction of PLMService2.0 standards of Object Management Group(OMG),make the PLM the only future information integration solution. if the Product Data Management (PDM) can ease"information island", the new SOA-based PLM can completely eliminate"information island".First of all , the paper describes the IBM SOA-based PLM system framework ,mainly through the design and implementation of the SOA-based Bill Of Materials (BOM) management platform, focuses on solving the information integration problem of BOM which distributed in PDM / Computer Aided Process Planning(CAPP) / ERP and other systems, then join this platform to the SOA-based PLM system, as an important support module of PLM system.Secondly,the paper describes the design and implementation of BOM management platform in the paper, the process of design and implementation reflects three features of SOA: componentization, standardization, servicizing. Making small module components, importing PLM Service2.0 standards, developed each component separately, then assembly them according to "Process Requirements". Due to different business,the achieve results of information integration by processes are not the same, demonstrated on-demand management, on-demand integration features.Make patent "BOM-container construction method base on SOA architecture" from Chongqing SOA Information Technology Co., Ltd. as the main design blueprint, adding own innovations, combined with the "STS Conversion Kit (SOA transmission Suit)" of the company, achieved BOM data roaming features (joint test in chapter five), reflected cross-system joint solution and co-processing capabilities of BOM , to address the BOM Information integration across systems.
