Traffic Police Appraisal System Based On Workflow Technique

Electronic performance appraisal has great significance in the perfection of performance appraisal and escalation of management efficiency in the traffic police department. Work-flow based performance appraisal system can combine the appraisal process with management supervision tightly so that the organization structures and work flows can be reconstructed and optimized. With this system, a highly efficient, standard, transparent and fair performance appraisal platform has been provided for the traffic police department without the limit of time, space and branches through the internet.In this article, a work-flow based Electronic performance appraisal system was designed and realized for Guangdong traffic police department, which was one of the foundations of traffic police information project. Because of the Specificities of traffic police performance appraisal, works on demand survey were carried out, work flows and basic principles of current performance appraisal system were analyzed and optimized before the development of this new system. The design of this system basically fulfills the requirements for traffic police performance appraisal and this new designed system helps to promote the establishment of scientific and democratic performance appraisal.This article analyzed different proposals that can fulfill the realization of this system. T-he three-level architecture with workflow based technology and Browser/server pattern was finally established using component development technology.In the demand analysis stage, the performance appraisal processes of traffic police were extracted, which provided a foundation for workflow and database design. The design procedures of the system's total architecture, front Portal and backstage database were also discussed in this article. The function of each component was also introduced.The realization procedures for appraisal and verification of different class were introduced in the chapter of system total architecture design. In the chapter of system realization, some of the core algorithm was discussed and the design of the system's dynamic index was explained in detail.Finally, further imaginations for data availability and security technology were conducted.
