Research And Realization Of Dynamic Workflow

With the wide use of computer and network in daily life, Workflow has become a critical technology for enterprise on coordinating business process, enhancing the abilities of meeting an emergency and of competitive power. As a software carrier of Workflow, the main intention of WfMS, invoking various resources of information and human power involved to cooperate the various parts of the business process, which is made to perform tasks according to a predefined sequence in turn, is to achieve the automation of the business process.Nowadays, there have been a lot of productions of WfMS. Most of them only allow to define and to modify the workflow models in build time, and don't allow to modify them in run time. Because of the restriction, these productions are only fit for the processes which are well-constructed and don't need to be modified in run time. Actually, most of the business processes are not static, they often need to make some dynamic modifications to react to all kinds of new requirements in run time. And Dynamic Workflow is one of the most important techniques that we need in order to improve the flexibility of WfMS.In this thesis, we summarize and research others' studies about Dynamic Workflow, and bring forward two kinds of theories about it. They mainly include the following content:1. Based on the research of Synchro flow Workflow Model, we put forward the first theory named Restricted Dynamic Workflow. The theory includes three kinds of modification methods which are named activity splitting, workflow splitting and workflow degenerating. And it also include the modification rule and modification strategy of these methods.2. Refer to dynamic workflow model of Wu Zhaohui of ZheJiang University, we put forward the second theory named Based-rule Dynamic Workflow. We expand the original Synchroflow Workflow model on three aspects(workflow model element, automatic composition algorithm and running rule),and make the SynchroflowWorkflow Model fit for dynamic process.The theories above advance the flexibility of Synchroflow Workflow Model, and they have already be realized in the DynamicFlow Workflow Management System? We wish all the achievements have positive effect on the researching of the Dynamic Workflow.
