Along with the development of ubiquitous computing, the application of mobile middleware becomes more and more popular. When the technology of mobile middleware is put into practice, several technologies have become key topics in the domain, which are context awareness, dynamically self adaptation, and the interaction and coordination between mobile agents. With the prevalence of application, the interaction information in the ubiquitous environment presents a trend of heterogeneity. And the traditional context concept can not satisfy the current technical requirements. Furthermore, increasing trend of personality is presented. To meet with these requirements, this paper will propose a framework of semantic pattern-based context-aware middleware.Main researches contain following aspects:Aiming at the describable insufficiency of the relations between objects, we will research how to facilitate the information expression and conversion on surface of semantics with the concept of ontology.To dynamically adapt the heterogeneity in mobile computing, we will introduce the proactive conversion to make a prediction decision and seamless conversion towards the information. To support the intelligent and automatic information process in the context-aware environment, we explore context event reflection mechanism.As the middleware is suitable for the Ad-hoc network, we explore the tuple space to build the decentralized system architecture to better support the asynchronous, context sensitive communication, and the function of personal information protection.To satisfy the decentralized requirement, we implement the runtime service customization, and propose an approach to facilitating web service customization in the ubiquitous computing environments through a programmable way in which the collaboration happens between service provider and consumer.Through above research, the context-aware middleware we construct can solve the problem we refer above to some extent. The implementation will also be explained in detail.
