With rapid development of network technology and applications, online journalism blog as an emerging media has its own unique voice on the internet. In four years time, journalism blog has undergone a series of development, for instance, "NPC and CPPCC 2006" blog are totally transformed to "NPC and CPPCC 2010" micro-blogs. Not only in quantity, but in value has reached a certain scale, journalism blog has establish a role in supporting the traditional media. According to the click rate, journalism blog in China has a repercussion to some degree. In addition, from being in the virtual online world, journalism blog has certain advantage that the traditional media do not possess, especially the interaction with readers. The readers'comments contained views and opinions can be viewed by the author in very first time. However, China's journalism blog development is still on the early stage, many problems remain. For example: Taken as a whole, those journalism blogs affiliated with traditional media have not been properly organized. The Journalism blogs are updated in a random way, and the content is also full of randomness, therefore these blogs are not conducive to attract long-term interests from the audience. With the further development of China's journalism, as staff to the professional mass media, if the journalists can take the advantages of virtual blog space to improve the existing shortage, they can certainly contribute to internet development in China. In the first chapter of this article, a brief introduction to the research background of journalism blog is given, which lists the research results both here and abroad, and finally advances a problem. The second chapter shows the technology and the development of journalism blog. The third chapter is based on the investigation on existing journalism blogs. The fourth chapter makes a further analysis on the features and functions of journalism blog on the basis of the previous chapter. In the fifth chapter, the study of journalism blog was taken to the background of journalism reform; the chapter discusses the role journalism blog plays and future trends may occur. Chapter Six is the summary to the full essay.
