3G network is a new generation of mobile communication in our country, which will definitely bring great changes to means of communication.3G has showed many advantages in the combination area, but also took a mount of problems. 2G is a narrowband network, while 3G is a broadband network. In the foreseeable long period, the 3G core network and the 2G core network will coexist in the current communications network, and how to integrate the two networks well will become our problem which should be solved. This thesis mainly starts from the content of NO.7 and expands the number of network elements between the PCMID controls by changing the parameters of the NO.7. As a result, the bandwidth of the communication between the switch network elements will be broaden, which is an entry point to improve the quality of the two networks integration. The dissertation analyzes the currently interactive mode of No.7 and the content of the relevant parameters, parameters role and signaling structure for searching a theory basis to modify the parameters of the NO.7. As the complexity of the communication network, this dissertation mainly focuses on the theoretical investigation that the maximum amount of controls is increased on the most crucial aspect of the signaling. The hardware involved in transformation, the programming and pouring of the signaling the control module programming have not been inferred in this dissertation since the parameters modified affects widely including the affecting on other communication transaction behavior and the huge workload. At present, the specific idea of this dissertation is to increase the identification bit of BIT PCMID numbers. According to the formula MAX (PCMID)= 2n, when the each bit of the identity PCMID bit is increased, the maximum controls will be doubled on the signaling level. Thus it lays a foundation of the TDM maximum bandwidth between the switch boards in the signal level (the signal level is the most important part in the communication network) and provides the condition of achieving a smooth integration transition of 2G and 3G. In the last part of this dissertation, the telephone channels occupying simulation program of the NO.7 for verifying results has been designed and developed. The program can be used as research results.
