As an essential entertainment of Inner Mongolia people, NMTV Spring Festival Gala is also an important window to publicize Inner Mongolia culture. Since the first NMTV Spring Festival Gala was held in 1984, all creators of each Spring Festival Gala have never given up making the gala an Inner Mongolia television cultural brand with a certain influence with their sincere ethnical sentiment, full creative passion and vitalize time sprit.In this paper, NMTV Spring Festival Gala in mandarin from 2001 to 2010 has been systemically analyzed, which attempts to deeply explore its development context and cultural connotations. There are mainly three parts in this thesis, Introduction, Principle Argument and Conclusion. The Introduction mainly illustrates achievement of NMTV Spring Festival Gala since 2001. The Principle Argument is composed of three chapters. Chapter One gets NMTV Spring Festival Gala uptime sorted against its form and content. Chapter Two focuses on analysis of development context and unique feature of NMTV Spring Festival Gala since 2001, in which the development context was analyzed according to development of program types, gala hosting and stage technology, and the unique feature was analyzed in the light of Horse Sprit, Mongolian Yurt Complex and Mother Mind prominently shown in the gala. While Chapter Three deeply explored Cultural Connotations and Aesthetic Quality implied in NMTV Spring Festival Gala, and has made analysis on Regional Culture, Folk Culture and Aesthetic Appreciation of Mongolian. The problems encountered by the Spring Festival Gala of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and its solutions have been briefly discussed in the Conclusion part.
