Research And Implementation Of Magnetic Media Data Wipe Technology On Windows Platform

Today, the security of magnetic media stored in memory and data classified above it was by the increasingly high attention. In government agencies,major enterprises and institutions, especially in the vital security sector, a large number of important classified data on there computers, it was sensitive and even the major secrets related to national data. Therefore, when the computer is diverted, or disposed of before resale or donation, it must be completely erased all the data above it, in order to avoid loss of secret information. Classified at the highest level in many departments have chosen to clear the classified data with physical destruction, which crushed the physical hardware, data clean-up method in practical applications more difficult, on the one hand subject to enormous financial pressure, on the other hand some non-classified data also have been destroyed together. In this way, it can be described as destruction of classified data, but the cost is significant. In some of the existing use of software to complete the data cleaning methods, such as crushing as well as the disk is formatted documents, etc., can not finish the protection of classified data, and many recovery software can be removed with this method of clearance data recovery easily.Removal of classified data for the current approach is not perfect, this paper describes the design of Windows File System, such as currently being widely used in FAT file system, as well as the NTFS file system. And it also describes the basic principles of data stored in these file systems. The data on magnetic media for removal of several common methods detailed analysis, and for the inadequacy of these methods to design a new kind of classified data on magnetic media removal programs. Among them, the data completely cleared override methods carried out a detailed analysis of the data removed so the new program overwrites the data, we developed a convenient,safe and user-friendly algorithm design.The innovation of this paper is to clear the disk data, you can not resolve the complex Windows file system's file structure (such as meta-data), the times to complete the entire disk magnetic media data, a thorough cleanup. Especially for high NTFS recovery, security, outstanding performance, file systems, in the data purged, greatly increased the speed of removal, and makes the possibility of the data has not been restored. This, we design, completely solve the data is deleted, special tools can be restored by the problem, the flexibility for file, directory, the remaining disk space and data on the total eradication of the entire disk. In current design of magnetic media, on which the data can not be found, safe and efficient.
