Solid State Disk(SSD),as an emerging large-capacity storage device,has quickly replaced mechanical hard disk with its advantages of high speed,small size,light weight,strong shock resistance and low power consumption.It has become the representative of new generation hard disk storage technology,and widely used in various fields.However,the data is stored in clear text without protection of identify authentication,which is extremely vulnerable to the threat of information disclosure and tampering.Based on above,a partition encryption SSD has been designed to realize the dual protection of AES algorithm encryption and identity authentication for entire data.The domestic self-developed SATA3.0 controller chip is adopted as main control chip and embedded multimedia card(eMMC)as storage medium in this system.On this basis,the overall structure of the hard disk is completed.This dissertation also introduces the software design and implementation of partition encryption SSD in detail,which includes firmware,absolute hidden area FAT32 file system and application.The firmware design implements eMMC storage control,device binding,identity authentication,password modification,and full disk data encryption.Absolute hidden area FAT32 file system is mainly designed based on FATFS file system to realize function of reading and writing files in absolute hidden area through private file operation interface.The application program is developed based on Windows operating system and cooperates with firmware to accomplish the functions of identity authentication,password modification and visual management of absolute hidden area.In order to meet diversified needs and further enhance security,the storage space of solid state disk designed in this dissertation is divided into common area,security area and absolute hidden area.It defaults display the common area when power-on,after passing identify authentication,the security area will appear.With AES256 algorithm enciyption through the encryption engine built in the main control chip,it achieves dual protection of data.At the same time,in order to prevent the forgetting of identity authentication password,the function of password modification is also designed.Due to the invisible of absolute hidden area,attacks from hackers,viruses,and spyware are eliminated,so it is mainly used to store confidential information such as hard disk configuration information and operation log,and further enhance the security of important data.Ultimately,make a test of the whole system,and the results show that the solid state disk designed in this dissertation achieves the expected goal in data transfer rate,reliability,compatibility and functionality,whic has a certain practical value.
