| Based on the geographical advantage and the language advantage of XinJiang and the advantage of domestic development of software technology and industry, developing multilingualization OS which faces the area of central Asia and west Asia, building the new field of our country software export, and developing the industry of facing other country is a very significant project for XinJiang. The paper develops multilingualization Linux OS of Cyrillic Kazakh, which develops accord with International standard, and based on the Internationalization and Localization of Linux OS, by the usage of Center Asia country's language and character. The writer focuses on the following:(1) Study of the national distribution, the history of language and character of Central Asia country.(2) Study of the standard of character and language, grammatical regularity, and the writing regularity of Central Asia country.(3) Study of the standard of code, keyboard layout, fonts by computer process of Central Asia country.(4) Study of the technique which the Linux OS completes the localization of Cyrillic Kazakh.Based on above study, by building up Fonts, setting up localization environment of Cyrillic Kazakh, Working out the input method of Cyrillic Kazakh, translating interface of Cyrillic Kazakh, the experiment realizes the Linux OS of Cyrillic Kazakh. Experiment shows that the system completes the input and output of Cyrillic Kazakh, completes Cyrillic Kazakh is fairly compatible with English and chinese, and completes Cyrillic Kazakh of application software which based on the Linux OS. The experiment achieve our designed object. |
