In the process of Localization, we not only need to know the basic knowledges of L10N, but also need to master relative professional knowledge. Then based on this knowledge, we are able to research & implement the processes of localization of Apple software. Finally, we summarize the situation how the process of localization is carrying through in order to improve the process.Software localization is a project which integrates the Translation, L10N Project and Testing, including project management, translation of interface and documents, resizing, compiling, testing and quality assurance. Software localization is a kind of production activity that processes a software product according to the demands from special language markets in certain country and territory. So it can satisfy the users' special demands of languages and culture in certain market.Translation is very important, because the result of localization is to make sure that each user can understand or master the production, we should tranalte whole contents observed into local language. But just only translation is far from enough; it should be immited local multive culture. Secondly, L10N Project process is a kind of means. Because some functions or services of original production may be not applicable to the local market, or add some other corresponding functions or services needed in local market, it should be restrcutured. The last but not least. Testing makes the products perfect. The localized products & services should be tested in target markets` environment. so that all of the functions are able to run perfectly, and can be accepted by local users.The nature of localization is to aim at the certain market to greatly improve the software product and to convenience the users. Its ultimate aim is to make users find that the used software is producted for themselves.It emphasizes the consistency between the foreign products and the local ones.
