Design And Application Of Planning Management Graphic System Based On AutoCAD And GIS Technology

The requirement for City Planning management is more and more improvement with city's development and the size extended. Therefore, in this article, a new business management system, which is based on and combined AutoCAD and GIS technology, was designed and demonstrated its advantage, in both AutoCAD and GIS field. This new system is focus on making management more effective in daily city planning management.The article brief reviews related technology and then analyze system requirement. Based on those fundamental studys, system design was generated, including design theory, system structure, functional module and data base. And then, detail explaination about function module's design and application which cover data loading, property searching and so on. Finally, the article also shows a demo for system application in real status.This AutoCAD & GIS Business Management System had been applied by Su Zhou and Wu Jiang City Plan Bureau. Its advantage, easy to learn and use, had been confirmed and applauded by user. The theory for combine AutoCDA and GIS technology also had been verified by above real application and can be referred by other similar system design.
