The Research On Urban Greenland Planning & Management Using GIS

To plan and design urban greenland scientifically and properly,planners have to condsider numberous factors such as entironment,society and economy. And it has hard relationship with the countour map and planning map.The developed software package under AutoCAD environment together with based-on GIS Urban Greenland Information System overcomes shortcoming in the traditional designing method.These two package of software are very helpful in many ways,including investigation of attribute data,organizing and storing spatial data,analysising spatial and attribute data,computing special model and displaying the results in the form of graphic & data.Using these software packages,planning & managing urban greenland in quantity,criteria and scientific becomes possible,which was just dreams.At last,the solution,brought in this paper,is a valuable example for the reference by the similar situation in the future.
