With the development of communication technology, the demands of video surveillance have been shifted from the analog to the digital as well as the high-definition digital video surveillance. Currently, high performance DSP offers a solid platform for the development of the video surveillance technology. This thesis designs decoder software of video surveillance system based on TI DM6437 platform.Chapter 1 gives the software background of video and audio compressing technology, and the development of DSPs. It also introduces the purpose and the task of the software design;Chapter 2 describes the audio and video codec algorithms in the software based on G.711 and H.264;Chapter 3 introduces the peripheral, the core architecture, and the memory architecture of TI DM6437 DSP and its integrated development environment-CCS;Chapter 4 presents the design of DVR decoder software's architecture, from hardware and software, it also presents the design of the audio and video synchronization controlling algorithms in decoder software;Chapter 5 discusses the optimization of H.264 decoder;Chapter 6 summarizes the design of the whole system in this thesis and discusses the possible future works to be accomplished. |
