Especially in recent years, as a special performance of social conflicts of various Group event always happen, confrontation became more and more violent, and the sphere of influence is expanding, has become a very important issue to the national economic development and social stability. According to the frequency current of the Group event and have become a social normal phenomenon, the report of the Group event clearly become an important topic in the media, but at the restraint of the traditional news values and news policy, there are many deficiencies in the media coverage of the Group event.As the society's eye, the channel of people obtain information, the bridge of the government and the public communications and the guide of public opinion, the news media plays an important role in the handling of Group event. If the media's role play properly, will play an active effect to resolve the Group event, those are very important to the social's stability and development. Group event in different stages, media reports have different functions.At the latency of the Group event, if the media can provide the information timely, we will eliminate all kinds of gossips, rumors and social panic, reduce the damage of the Group event; at the stage of the outbreak, the media is an important tool to coordinate social relations, to call up community resources, and to contact the government and the public; at the resolution phase of the Group event, the media can appease the masses, stable people, and the media's reflection also help the Government to drawing lessons and improve their work, encourage the public to think, change their view and culture rational citizens, thereby promoting social progress, and to prevent similar event from happening again. Media only can give us some help to prevent and dealing with Group event, to truly solve the problem need the joint efforts of the society.Framing theory is a concept from cognitive psychology, social psychologists believe Framing theory can help people to think and order information, but also become a major source of ideology or stereotypes, confined people's subjective perception of the world, has some negative effects, will lead people to become accustomed to some things. After Framing theory entered the field of Journalism and Communication, it was widely used by scholars. From the communicator's view, because some things are familiar in the objective world to them, and they accustomed to this as a framework, which intentionally or unintentionally ignored the truth beyond the limits of the framework; while from the perspective of the audience, for granted, tired of feeling will arise, thereby the trust to news reports will decline.My article will take shaoguan 6.26 incident and xinjiang 7.5 incident as the object of study, and analysis same related coverage from several representative print media quantified, using the knowledge of Framing theory, find and analysis the mass media's framework choice on the incident report, identify the shortcomings of traditional media reports frame, so as to provide a reference for media when they report Group event.
