With the contineous progress of the science and technology, particularly rapid development in communications technology, compute technology and embedded system technology, smart home is moving toward the family among the ordinary people. The smart home system has been gradually become an essential of modern family home system. There would be just two or three decades from the date of smart home birth, its function continully updated from single alarm, now the function of smart home has included intelligent home appliances, information network appliances, network communications, intelligent monitoring and other fields. The intelligent home system will provide more and more convenience in the near future. The morden smart home system essentially provide a comfortable, convinent, safe, environmental protective home.This dissertation presents an intelligent home supervisory control system on the basis of embedded system. This system can achieve the function such as intelligent supervisory control, sensor data collection, data multichannel transmission and system data intelligent estimation. This system is highly intellectualized and different functions can be established according to different requirement. This process can be set up by clients through a friendly human-machine interface.The system provide the enough circuit interfaces, including USB, IIC, SPI, IIS, and so on, the system freely connected with out device, it has good market prospects.This design based on embedded system mainly depend on the ARM9 platform. This paper mainly deals with designing and debuging the hardware of the system. The system hardware is mainly composed by the microprocessor,3G module circuit, Zigbee module circuit, network card circuit, and power supply circuit. The detailed analysis and the realization of each module circuit are presented in this dissertation. And the debugging and problem solving of the system are also presented. The whole intelligent monitor system has perfect function, reliable data collection and backup, and it realize the network transmission of video surveillance and data transmission based on the wireless 3G network. The system can also connect remotely to access based on the Internet,3G and Zigbee interface which has the convenience for users to view the system's working state, the remote access has more stringent security measures to protect the data of the system. This system has passed the test, and the result shows that all function is realized, and the system can work stably. The expected goal is achieved.
