Smart Home Remote Monitoring System Based On Embedded B / S Architecture

With the increasing abundance of material life, people have more urgent requirements of the pursuit of happiness which is generated by a brilliant home life,so that smart home system has been coming into people’s lives. With the Internet of things having become more sophisticated,and the wide use of embedded systems in the industrial and home control areas,the smart home system is booming.The content of the paper describes a design of the smart home system which is based on B/S structure in detail.Through the analysis of the existing model and the functional requirements of the smart home system,this paper provides the structure of the system,and designs the communication system, and it also achieves various functional modules of the smar thome at the same time.The smart home system uses ARM9microprocessor as the host controller hardware and uses Linux operating system as the software platform. The smart home system mainly provides two basic services:one service is remote intelligent monitoring,the other is home-based management.This two basic services are mainly composed of home intelligent gateway system and the home network system and home audio system.When achieving the intelligent gateway system, the construction of embedded server and the CGI intelligent program have been accomplished. When achieving the home network system, the network forming which is based on wifi wireless networking technology have been accomplished.At last,The CGI program and the Linux program have been accomplished which are achieving the function of the various functional modules.Finally, According to the two basic home system services, the experiments of remote control for web pages and the voice system have been carried out. the experiments indicate that the smart home system can basically meet the needs of home users and verify the feasibility of the smart home system which is based on B/S architecture.
