The fieldbus technology is a hot topic in the field of Industrial Automatic Technology development. As a new trend, it came from continuous technology development of Computer, Communication and Automatic Control, and became one of the research focuses of Industrial Control System in the world. With detailed analysis, the paper presents a design of fieldbus control system, based on the application in the acetonitrile refining Installment of An Qing Petrochemical Acrylic Fiber Factory.Detailed discussion on the concept and theory of Fieldbus Control System is presented at first in the paper. Comparison and analysis are also made on the characteristics of the five classical fieldbus usages, with much focus on the details of Foundation fieldbus, including the differences between DCS and FCS.Then, an integrated plan based on Fieldbus Control System is put forwarded according to the Acrylic Fiber Production Process. Comprehensive studies are given to the tree topology of the whole system and the particular hardware in the automatic control system, including the operation equipments, fieldbus devices, PLC and so on. The requirements of design and installation of this plan are also put forward.Based on open operating system, the software of FF fieldbus control system are studied and introduced, including equipment configuration, control strategy configuration and, the flow chart design configuration.Due to many complex conditions in the temperature control system of distillation in acetonitrile refining installment, such as delay, time-variable and more disturbants, the variables are hard to be measured and controlled with the conventional PID control. Therefore, the fuzzy PID strategy is used in the process of the distillation control.With the help of MATLAB emulation toolbox, comparison between conventional PID and fuzzy PID are made in the paper. The results show that the fuzzy strategy can achieve a better result and it doesn't need an exact mathematic model.The FF fieldbus control system operation are analyzed and made a conclusion in the end of this paper. Several troubleshooting and proposals are also put forward, so that it might be helpful for more cost effectiveness and reliable operation in the future system design and maintenance.
