Design And Realization Of Data Center Integrated Managing And Issuing Platform For An Oil And Gas Field Branch

The rapid development of Internet/Intranet brings the geographical information system (GIS) into a brand new developing stage. WebGIS is the product of Internet/Intranet technique applied to the GIS, and also a hot spot and a developing direction of GIS technology. The WebGIS breaks the limitation of traditional GIS, promoting the development of geographical information further towards popularization, industrialization, departmentalization and informatization.For the competition in the oil and gas field is increasingly fierce, the oil and gas companies all raise a slogan of informatization construction and steadily work on the issue in order to improve the oil and gas producing and researching efficiency, increase the benefit of company operation, and keep their competitiveness. After knowing the present stage of informatization construction of one of the oil and gas companies, the application of WebGIS based on ArcIMS, which is a data center integrated managing and issuing platform, will be deveploed and implemented.This thesis firstly introduces the background of this issue, which is the application of GIS technology in oil and gas field and its developing trend. After that, the author researches the characteristics, classification, application, and system structures of the WebGIS, and compares several porpular WebGIS to decide to choose the ArcIMS map issuing tool, which is a WebGIS software produced by the ESRI company. Then, the construction aim, the business function needs, and the design principles of the system are presented. Secondly, the system structure of ArcIMS and mission of every layer are studied. Further, the author chooses the explorer and application explorer based on the actual situation of the company, uses the ArcIMS to complete the issuing of map, and combines the ArcXML with JavaScript languages to realize the basic map operaion. Meanwhile, ArcSDE, Oracle, J2EE and SSH framework and so on are used as the plateform and technology of the system, and the realizing process of every sub-system functional module is expressed by the sequence diagrams. Also, the optimization of configuration of ArcIMS and the asynchronous read of data using Ajax techonology are studied to improve the system efficiency. Finally, the running results of the system are presented.At present, the system has been applied to the business of the company, and is running normally.
