Research On The Digital X-ray Imaging System (DR System)

DR (Digital Radiography), the digital X-ray imaging system, includes electronic magazine, scan controller, system controller, video monitor display device etc., are applied to make X-ray photons converted to digital images through the electronic cassette. Digital X-ray imaging technique has many advantages:high-resolution, image clarity and fine detail; the requirement of X-ray dose is less than the traditional screen-film system.Digital X-ray imaging equipment will instead of the traditional screen-film system. This is the general trend of development. But China's basic situation is the low level of rural medical care, lack of funds.. As a health care system essential for clinical imaging, the X-ray diagnostic equipment is the popularity of the Chinese rural health care information technology and digital X-ray imaging device has a very universal significance.Based on this status, an universal digital X-ray imaging equipment design is necessary. This type digital imaging devices need to have high-quality digital X-ray image, under the premise of minimizing the cost. In this paper, we used intensifier-CCD digital X-ray reflection imaging system as a basis. The main contents are as follows:1. Design the optical system of X-rays into visible light. According to the analysis of optical imaging systems, we designed the mechanical system structure and size and the control system of mechanical system.2. Design the image processing algorithm which is more suitable for this image. We analyzed images and problems, and then design an appropriate method to process the image.3. Design of the transfer and printing systems of medical X-ray image to obtain the output film.
