1 This subject is aimed to make a digital X-ray unit, it based on DICOM standard , can realize the whole procedure from patients entering, examining to report printing.2 Procedure and method: To develop a type of x-ray machine which is constituted by a CCD image sensor with high sensitive and high resolution, a digital image capture board, and computer application software. The computer application software is designed to capture the digital image during the x-ray examination, as well as to register the patient and to be applied as a doctor' s workstation. In this thesis, some styles of digital radiography technology have been introduced briefly, and the principle of the x-ray machine as well as its hardware and software design have been presented particularly.In those days, The Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine (DICOM) is raised in medical communication. This Standard is independent of manufacturer. This thesis discusses how to implement basic services defined in DICOM protocol and put it into practice.3 The primary studies of this thesis include: Study the standard of DICOM, introduce the origin, characteristic and content of protocol in detail, and expatiate on some important definitions.Study and discuss on DICOM application entity' s architecture and DICOM working mechanism, realize the conversation of the DICOM images and medical images and display it by DIB, realizing image Window Level/Window Width adjust, imaging pan, zoom, rotation, dyeing, Smoothing Filters, sharp, blur, bright and contrast adjust, local amplification etc. image processing. Realizing patients enter up, doctor diagnosis report' s creating and print.
