A high-voltage half-bridge drive circuit with high-speed was designed in this thesis. This drive circuit can be used in high-frequency switching and motor control and can also drive two MOSFET or IGBT with middle power. In particular, it can complete DC/AC invertion.Firstly, the core technology and the applications about the high-voltage integrated circuit (HVIC) was introduced, the structure and performance of the drive circuit was illustrated, and the structure of the half-bridge drive circuit was designed according to the application requirement. Then the main parameters of the drive circuit was analyzed. The core module such as the input circuit, the deadtime circuit, the short-voltage safeguard circuit, the level shift circuit and the output circuit was designed and discussed in detail.The TTL input voltage of the input circuit was in the range of 5 V to 15 V, and the input waveform was regulated. The two interval signal was genarated by the deadtime circuit to prevent the through phenomenon from the high output voltage simultaneously. The high output voltage existed by the comparation of the sampling voltage and the reference voltage in the short-voltage safeguard circuit and the high voltage signal and the low voltage was locked. The voltage level could be shifted from the high voltage to the low voltage by the level shift circuit. The LDMOS devices with special structure was used to avoid breakdown of the common MOS devices, and the ESD protection was performrd to avoid the electrostatic effect and the noise in the input and output.Finally, with the CSMC 0.5μm technology process, each module of the half-bridge drive circuit was simulted by using the softwares of Hspice and Spectre to vefrify the whole design. s. Then the layout of the drive circuit was designed by using Cadence Virtuoso. The simulation results was reasonable.
