The Designing And Development Of The Examining System Based On B/S

This thesis is intended to dwell upon the designing and the development of the examining/testing system based on B/S which can satisfy the needs of my vocational school. It is based on the related theory about network examining system combined with mature ASP technology and my twelve-year abundant teaching experience. It aims at the actual status of examination in my school and the existing problems in examining management. It is put forward after careful research into vast materials about network examining system. With the aids of network and computers, this system can promote the complete changes of means of examining from traditional paper form to computerization. Therefore, it can increase the efficiency of the management of school examination and guarantee its justice and scientificalness. It has been mastered and recognized by students and teaching staff after its practical use for more than one year in the school. It can be expected this system will be of great benefit and significance to the examination reform of the school.The outline of the thesis is as follows:Chapter One briefly introduces the background of the research, the purposes, the significance, the methodology and the structural arrangement of the thesis.Chapter Two is the literary review. It mainly combs the theoretical framework of the thesis, including educational examination theory, educational evaluation theory, system theory, educational information management theory and composing theory of examining system. Thereafter, the author analyzes the technological support of examining system based on B/S.In Chapter Three, the author analyzes and intends to construct the conception of the design, the logical and the functional framework of the examining system.Chapter Four develops the platform of the examining system, and describes the developing and working environment of the platform and the process of its development, together with data base designing and basic functional modules of the system and its technological realization.In the last chapter, the author carries out further validation and evaluation of the examining system platform and summarizes the research. And at the end of the thesis, she expresses her expectations for the future continuation and accomplishment of the research.
