China's media industry make a huge reform to take a positive response.to face to the overwhelming challenges posed by the foreign media group after China accessing to WTO. In 1996, the first media group - Guangzhou Daily Press Group was established in China.That means China's Media Industry had begun to have the processing of the Group .The Shanghai Media & Entertainment Group was established on April 9th in 2001. The Shanghai Media & Entertainment Group is the one of largest media group in China. Its achievement is obviously to be accepted by the others. But there are still some problem. In the operations. In my opininon ,it can represent for our country's situation business of the media Group's currently.The Shanghai Media & Entertainment Group is a microcosm of China's media group.This paper is focus on the Shanghai Media & Entertainment Group's operating strategy and analyzing of the operating issues. In this paper, it is the difficult to point out the adoption of the Shanghai Media & Entertainment Group's operating strategy and the analysing of the problems.In the end ,um up the feasibility of business strategy of China's media group experience. In the writing this paper,I use the case study method and system analysis method. The article was divided into five parts. The first section describes China's media's the background and the some reasons for developing groups. The second part describes the Shanghai Media & Entertainment Group and development of the process of establishing the status in details. The third part through the Shanghai Media & Entertainment Group as a typical case the road analysis, Summed up the Shanghai Media & Entertainment Group in their operations, using three strategies. The fourth part is elaborated on the Shanghai Media & Entertainment Group operates in the existence of strategy, financial, institutional, the management of human resources, brand building and other issues. Part V of the by using the experience and drawing a lessons from the Shanghai Media & Entertainment Group in the course of business of China Media Group, sum up the development in future.By summing up, we can conclude that China's Media Group business strategy should be restuctured in the management system reform, the effective use of funds , the investment in talent management, sound system, brand management and to have a advantage in building national brands. Only in this way , China Media Group will can be win in faster and better international development competition in future.
