Compared with traditional mobile phone, smart phone has distinct advantages.Smartphones not only have normal applications such as dialing, sms, but also have PDA function, including personal information management, calendar notes, tasks, arrangements, multimedia applications, browse Web and other functions, they are not only rich in content, but also have an open operating system, so you can install more applications in the smart phone, and the smart phone can handle multiple applications, so we can expand the software unlimited, and upgrade the hardware.3G mobile phone refers to mobile communication terminal that combines wireless communications and the Internet technology. It can deal images, music, video streaming and other forms of media services including web browsing, conference calls, e-commerce and some other information services.3G mobile is completely the product of integration of communications industry and the computer industrial. Since issuing 3G licenses,3G mobile phones developed rapidly in China, make a good environment for 3G's development in China.3G mobile phone is a new mobile good at dealing mobile internet and data services, people can surf the website, use e-mail, and watch multimedia video through mobile phone anytime, it takes great convenience for people's lives.The combination of smart phones and 3G must be the trend in the future.The main work of my project is the design and optimization of 3G smart phone communication module on Android platform. This paper implement and optimize dail, SMS, contacts and other phone module functions, to make the quality of communication better. The main chip is Qualcomm's QSD8250 processor chipset, it include a application processor and a baseband processor. RTR6285 RF chip is a single-chip UMTS radio frequency complementary CMOS transceiver with the function of band receive diversity and GPS, RTR6285 transceiver integrates receive diversity function, it increase network capacity by 50%, and make the number of average data processing of the HSDPA double.Integrated GPS will meet on location and emergency services. The Operating system use a very powerful smart phone platform Android released by Google. Thesis is divided into four parts, the first part discusses the Android platform and the protocol of communication module.The second part discusses the system's hardware design based on QSD8250 core and compares some popular hardware platform solutions. The third part describes how to build cross-compiler environment and how to design and optimize the software of communication module. The last part describes the whole process of the functional test, then analyze the test results.The results show that the smart phone has the characteristics of stable performance, smooth running, excellent call quality, quickly and accurately in message sending. HSPA, WCDMA, EDGE, GPRS network switch quickly, allowing users to access applications and services at any time, and provide convenience for users to access mobile Internet and share data. |
