Design Of Phone Software Module Based On Android Platform

With the coming of the information epoch, more and more information areneeded in people’s life and work. The contact range of people’s life is also becomingwider and wider. However, the speed of development of fixed-line phone is slowerand slower. This problem has caused widespread concerns in global communicationindustry. A fixed-line telephone with operating system effectively alleviates thisproblem and opens up a new field for development of fixed-line telephone at the sametime. It not only has the basic functions of phone, but also it can be regarded as amultimedia terminal. It has multimedia capabilities, such as viewing photos, browsingthe video, listening to music, and surfing the Internet for information, which bringpeople an absolutely new experience.In this dissertation, the hardware platform has been built based on RealV210Android development board of Guangzhou huatian technology and double systemlattice caller id chip VT870. The development of telephone system has beenimplemented by the open source2.3.1version of the Android operating system.This dissertation analyzes the Android system and the detail of fixed-line phone,builds implementation framework based on phone which uses Android system. Byanalyzing the implementation of hardware abstract layer, JNI layer, hardware accessservices and the interface of hardware access services, we complete the design ofhardware abstract layer, JNI layer, hardware access services and the interface ofhardware access services of dialing signal, caller info and microphone status signal infixed-line phone circuit, and then we achieve the communication of the above signalsbetween driver layer and Android application layer. It provides interfaces that accessto hardware of fixed telephone for Android application layer. At last, in thisdissertation, we discuss the function of phone and the design of fixed telephonesystem, complete the dial-up interface and the call interface and realize design of theapplication layer of phone. At last we achieve the basic functions such as making acall, answering the telephone and missing call notice. We expand the functions oftelephone’s application by combining it with the mobile phone’s functions likeaddress book, call records and favorites.In this research, we complete the design of the basic framework and applicationfunction of phone, and provide the basis for subsequent design of fax machine.
