With the emergence of large amounts of information, information resources need to be integrated to form more integrated information resources. It is in order to strengthen the integrated management of information resources, also to strengthen sharing and utilizing local information resources. It is the development trend of the future. The current methods of traditional database integration have become increasingly unable to meet the needs of people, because of its deficiencies. However, Service-Oriented Architecture has become the framework to deal with Database Integration. Web Services is the most suitable technology to achieve SOA, and its standards are becoming much maturer. It is widely applied to various fields. Web Services is cross-platform, strong interoperability. It is fully based on XML and XSD. It is the new platform to create interoperable, distributed applications. Web Services is designing the software into service, complying with relevant standards, so that different systems can be integrated seamlessly across it.This thesis introduces the current development in the field of data integration, and then introduces the technology of XML and its parsing technology, SOA frameworks, the relations between SOA and Web Services, the technologies of Web Services. By studying the theory of Data Integration, it is prepared for designing the integration of relational database. In-depth study and research of the three methods of traditional integrating heterogeneous data sources, comparing the advantages and disadvantages between the three methods, studying the mapping theory between the relational database and xml, also understanding the theory of Template-Based Mapping and Model-Based Mapping, it is also prepared for the future work. Studying the theory of Database Connection Pool, according to the needs of the project, it has completed the data timing synchronization.According to the requirements of an online monitoring system which is a power system of a power company, it is in order to integrate and synchronize the data of the sub systems which Include DC-Screen Network Online Monitoring System, Electrical Equipment of Far-infrared Online Imaging System, Temperature and Humidity Online Monitoring System, Power Quality Online Monitoring System, SF6 Gas Density Online Monitoring System, Transformer Oil Chromatography Online Monitoring System. Through studying the requirements of project, it has completed the function of data synchronization and integration which extracted from the required datas of the sub system databases into the comprehensive database of the monitoring system.The integrated framework of database has the following features:(1) It uses the theory of Database Connection Pool. You can reduce the time of application access the database and improve the utilization of database. It can manage the configuration of sub system databases connection, and control the connection and release of sub system databases.(2) It uses the technologies of Web Services, according to the theory of relational database integration to synchronize and integrate datas. Application layer and business can be effectively separated, thus reducing the coupling of applications.(3) It achieves synchronization according to the time. You can set the time for data synchronization and integration.Finally, the integration framework of database has been used into a project, it can prove that the framework is feasible, effective and practical.
