In recent years, public health emergency happened one after another, which not only do harm on people's health and lives, but also on economic development, social stability and national psychology. The spreading of SARS and H1N1 influenza made a warning to us:real-time monitoring and isolation can't block the entire virus outside of the door effectively and completely. For this global public health crisis, need to share and exchange crisis information and build cooperation in a large scope in order to response crisis positively. In terms of crisis management and response, the information sharing and interaction play an important role. In this paper, SARS and H1N1 influenza taken as cases, the characteristics of information communication in public health crisis will be discussed from the view of communication, especially crisis communication, combining with crisis management-related theory. And then i:s two levels, information sharing and linkage, will be pointed out. Further more, characteristics of information sharing and linkage and the limiting factor on these two mechanisms will also be analyzed by examining these two incidents of public health emergency thoroughly. Finally, tentative suggestion was put forward in order to build the long-term mechanisms of information sharing and linkage.
