| The mono-pluse antenna is widely used in the homing radar and the control and guide radar. The planar slot array antenna is widely used in the homing radar on the aircraft for its excellent advantages including: compact structure, high stiffness, low loss. In this paper, a planar slot array antenna is designed on the request of a mono-pluse antenna. We discussed the configuration of the sub-arrays on radiate surface, the character of the slot admittance is simulated and the design curves are fitted., we focus on the analysis of the slot mutual coupling,antenna optimizing. The problem of rise of the SLL of far field pattern in E-plane is solved. The test of the antenna expressed that the antenna reached the expected request and the method is well adapted.The main task in the paper is as followed:1,Analysis the antenna overall structure according to the request of the system. Discuss the sub-arrays of the radiate surface2,The slot admittance is simulated by three methods: MOM,one-port,two-port. The design curves are fitted by the polynomial.3,analysis the slot mutual coupling, compute the coupling by the method of GAUSS, and regular method. The efficiency of the two methods is compared.4,The whole structure of the antenna is simulated and optimized in the software. In order to solve the problem in the simulation results, two methods are taken as follows:(1) aperture field diagnose: the method in the field measurement is applied in the software. Improve the SLL in wide angle in E-plane by the method of tuning the radiate slots;(2) GA method: the non-uniform spaced units are optimized by the tool box in Matlab.5,antenna test : the test results proved that the antenna achieved the requests, and design method in this paper is well adapted. The antenna has been applied in the radar of the aircraft. |
