Advertisement is an economic activity, and it is also an aesthetic appreciation activity essentially. Since the first TV ad appears in 1979, the TV ads have gotten great development. However, there were also many significant problems in the TV ads. One of the problems is the ugliness appreciation. The lack of beauty is contrary to the traditional theory of the ad. The human being are bearing more stress than ever before and the model value has been broken, the analysis of ad ugliness appreciation will play an important part both in individual and society's development. This article aims to discuss the ugliness appreciation of TV ads, and analyze the potential positive and negative effects on society, and get some revelations. There are five chapters in this article. The first chapter is the fore-word, it will describe the background, aim, and the methods of this article. In this part, the main concept will be defined and the meaning of this study will be revealed. The second chapter is about the framework of this research. In this part, I will analyze the ugliness performance of TV ads. In the third chapter, I will try to find out the meanings of ugliness appreciation in TV ads. The forth chapter is the result and the weakness of this research. The last chapter will show the deficiency of the research.
