With the development of information technology and industrial control system, the demand of the network access for the traditional embeded devices are increasing. The thesis is to design a method to realize the TCP/IP protocol stack to access the internet for DSP-based embedded system. The thesis focuses on the driver development of the network interface card and the integration method of uip protocol stack. In the aspect of hardware, the thesis uses low-power, low-cost 16-bit DSP chip TMS320VC5402 as the microprocessor, using a mature RTL8019AS enthernet controller chip as the network interface, building a network access experiment platform for DSP chip.In the aspect of software, the porting and the cutting of the open-source embedded real-time operating systemμC/OS-Ⅱfor the chip TMS320VC5402 is realized in the thesis, and then the light open-source TCP/IP protocol stack is integrated into the system above. Furthermore, this thesis is to propose the method of driver designment for the network control card.In this thesis, the Ethernet communication mode designed based on DSP system is proposed. DSP is responsible for the completion of the functions which the direct operation of the Ethernet controller, and programs on various memory registers to cotrol RTL8019AS. this system sends and receives Ethernet data packages by running the uip stack onμC/OS-Ⅱ.Finally, the realization of network communication for the DSP-based embedded platform is varified through experiment, and the experiment results are analyzed. The results show that, the architecture ofμC/OS-Ⅱand uip can basically meet the requirement of Ethernet access, and realizes the communication between the host and the DSP embedded system.
