A New Ad Hoc Network Mac Protocol Proposed And Achieved

People's demand on mobile communication increases with the rapid development of information science. In the recent years, mobile communication is developing very quickly, new mobile communication technology, such as GSM, wireless LAN (IEEE802.11 and HiperLAN), Bluetooth, HomeRF and so on, become available. These new technology conveniences people's life and promotes the development of mobile communication.Ad Hoc network is a new network form with its characteristics of convenience, agility and speediness. But its acentric, inorganization, dynamic structure and route and wireless transmission complicate its application. And these characteristics have attracted much attention. So the study on Ad Hoc is heated day by day.In this thesis, we will begin from MAC protocol, analyse the performance of different MAC protocols on Ad Hoc network, propose a new MAC protocol with actual environment and implement this protocol in our system.Chapter 1 gives a brief introduction on Ad Hoc network, its origin, development, prospects, problems and study emphases.Chapter 2 introduces some kind of typical MAC protocols, analysing their performance on Ad Hoc network and compare them.Chapter 3 introduces actual environment for our system, proposes a new MAC protocol with our system, and implements it.Chapter 4 introduces test step and gives test result.
