Perspective On The Industry Chain Development Of Xinhua News Agency's Economic Information Service

In the information era of Economic globalization, information has become an important strategy, and an important means of inculcating values to other countries and implementing economic plunder. In an open situation the economic security has caused deep concern in many countries and worldwide attention. These strategies to abtain the rights of speaking through informationalization technology and to control the economy initiative through marketization and internationalization have become priorities for all the countries to participate in economic competition.In this background, the environment for news agency to develop its career has undergone profound changes, especially the traditional news media-based business model has been met with unprecedented challenges. To speed up the building of economic information services of Xinhua News Agency is the strategic need for China to maintain economic security, and the urgent requirement for Xinhua News Agency to achieve a strategic transformation in the new era also. However, due to the problems and obstacles correlated with ideas, concepts, mechanisms and methods etc, either in the theoretical research or in the actual operation, there should be room to improvement for the constructing and deepening of economic information industry chain of Xinhua News Agency. This paper has selected the news agency which is a part of distinctive in the media industry as an object of study, hoping to provide reference for the domestic media enterprises in the aspect of development in the economic information industry.Firstly, this paper describes the definition and products'characteristics of economic information services, and then deconstructs the industrial chain of China's economic information services, to make inductive analysis in its development and limitations. Secondly, all spheres of the industry chain of economic information services in Xinhua News Agency are considered, and then the crux of the problems would be summed up. Finally, this paper chooses "Xinhua 08" which is a representative object for Xinhua News Agency in the economic information services to be an entry point for analysis, combined with SWOT method and the theory of industrial chain, some strategic proposals on the constructing and improving the economic information industry chain for Xinhua News Agency are given,mainly in the aspects of the construction of the value chain and the extension and integration of the industry chain.
