The Design And Implementation Of Performance Evaluation System

This thesis proposes a project design as the following: utilizing the B / Sthree-tier structure as the constructing approach, using three MVC design,taking JAVA language, and making use of the framework is EXT and SPRING.Among those mentioned, the EXT framework is used for the presentation layer,the logic of the business layer is completed by the SPRING framework, andthe data layer is dependent on the JDBC of the SPRING package. Thedeveloping platform of the system is the Eclipse, the Oracle9i is used fordatabase management, and the network application server of Weblogic9 is setup.In order to design a technologically advanced and practical performanceevaluation system, the thesis also completes the following tasks:The thesis is based on a number of research books and papers. In order tomaster the development of web application systems of JAVA, this thesiscarries out a detailed study on the relevant research materials. After a study ondomestic and foreign research papers, this thesis makes a deep research onthe web application framework technology of JAVA. After the guidance of thesetheories, the thesis designs an integration methods among the differentframeworks, and makes its final solution of a web applications of JAVA in orderto realize the need analysis, the system design, the system's realization of theperformance evaluation system. On a variety of open-source frameworks,through my understanding and mastering them, I make the performanceevaluation system as such systems: practical and easy to use, self-developing,and centred on the spring framework.After the need analysis, a comprehensive set of system requirements are made, such as:functional requirements, performance requirements, reliability and availability requirements, errorhandling requirements, interface requirements, constraints and possible expansion. Then the system logic model is concluded. By the analysis of the processing data and the relevance of thesoftware and entity, the entity of the software is made out. By painting the external function modelSystem, we finally achieve a the visible part of the system which can be better understood byusers.After a collection of users'basic requirements, a general and detailed design is carried outaccordingly. First of all, the operation of the system configuration is identified; then the system'sthree-tier structure is designed; finally the function modules and databases design are completed.According to the design of the system, the performance evaluation system successfully realizespersonnel management, departmental management, the management for online users, assessingindex management, assessment template management, the scope of examination administration,evaluative rule management, formula management, assessment forms, final score calculation,staff score statistics, sector score statistics, summaries of the work uploaded, menu management,function point management, query management, query results management, 24 functionalmodules altogether. Different personnels can use different system functions in which the generalstaff can only score, check or sum up their work, etc. while others according to their positions cangain a broader usage.In the final period of the system implementation, the layout of the mainbody, the auxiliary modules and the functional modules of the system arerealized respectively. The system is used in the Changchun Branch of ChinaUnicom.The main task of the system is completed, the experiences so far aresummarized, and the future prospect of the performance evaluation system isexpecting. After a realization that the performance evaluation system must bebased on the people's management rather than the data's, the performanceresults should be applied to practical work, in order to inspire people andsummarize work.
