Design And Development Of Information Management System For Laboratories In University

As college education reform and development, in order to further improve the level of management of school work, had to consider how to improve work efficiency,The comprehensive quality of students require increasing, not only have good theoretical foundation, but also have good abilities, such a university for laboratory work efficiency is higher requirements.The lab should collect relevant data from the school office and assets in the lab data, and then the work plan and arrangement. Due to management information for many multifarious, the data are not convenient search and save. Laboratory management including experimental projects, teaching tasks, equipment management, laboratory curriculum arrangement, laboratory log. Past information-heavy using artificial management, operation and trival, equipment utilization rate is not high, the equipment maintenance inconvenience, so need to set up a modern information management level, computer software and hardware combination of information management systems. This paper mainly studies the university laboratory information management systemManagement information system (MIS), is a people-led, using computer hardware, software and network communication equipment and other office equipment,for information collection, transmission and processing, storage, the renewal and the maintenance. It is a new and scientific management system, integrate science of information, computer technology and discipline. Modern communications technology for enterprise owned by human, material and financial resources, equipment and technology resources, establish correct understanding of the survey data processing and compiled into all kinds of information management, to provide the correct decision-making, and constantly improve the management level of enterprises and economic benefits. Such as fatigue think:"management information system is a computer information system based on mobile phones, it through, processing, storage and spread information to support the organization's management and decision-making, cooperation, control, analysis, and visualization activities."In order to improve college the management and service level, raise working efficiency,speed up the construction of the digital campus,it is neccessary to develop the laboratory management information system(MIS) With the up-to-date research achievements of Information Management System as a reference, full investigation and study and analysis modern laboratory management mode, based on the management mode and characteristic of open-laboratory. The Information System based on Browser/Server mode has been advanced platform of information integration in modern time.In this paper the MIS based on B/S mode is researched and developed, enables the intellectualization,scientific, informationgoal of universities laboratory management can be realized.ASP is the acronym for " Active Server Page ". ASP is Microsoft developed instead of a CGI script, it can be used with database and other procedures, is a kind of simple and convenient programming tools.SQL Server database management in e-commerce applications such as database solution and plays an important role, high flexibility and reliability analysis of data management and its flexibility, allow the user to the rapidly changing environment in response, easy and adopt effective measures to realize the integrity of the data and safety.ODBC (Open Database login) is Microsoft Open service structure related Services have identified a part of the Database, it set up a group of standard, and provides a set of criteria for access to Database application programming interface (API). These API using SQL to complete its most task. ODBC itself also provides for the SQL language support, users can directly to the SQL statement for ODBC.This paper is divided into six chapters, the first chapter describes the development background of the related topics, subject development aim and significance of the feasibility analysis and system, The second chapter introduces this system technology, introduces the content of ASP language and SQL Server database of knowledge, B/S model describes the working principle of B/S model and the characteristics of information system development, The third part of the software engineering design steps of university laboratory information management system of requirement-analysis.The fourth section details the system's functional design, database design, etc.;especially the main part of the system—course arrangement,not only consider existing laboratory quantity whether meet the teacher quantity of laboratory of requirement at one time,but also fully take into account the number of the lab managed people of the actual experiment and the number which can hold in the laboratory at the same time,through the rational arrangement of this kind of algorithm,have improved the utilization ratio in the laboratory finally. This system is adopted dynamic module design, big convenience for the maintenance of the system administrator, administrator can delete all the data in the system,and to add new records. At the same time, the system provides database backup and restore function, great convenience in maintenance of data..The test of this system indicate this system is very satisfied general laboratory of university manage finally.The function of arranging the lesson automatically in this system can arrive to the general large-and-middle-scale universities and colleges applicably.
