Abstract/Summary:
Wireless ordering terminal is an important component of the wireless ordering system, and has already been paid much more attention in the growing food and beverage enterprises. With the development of embedded technology and advances in information technology, more and more embedded devices are applied in our daily life, food and beverage business is no exception. With the increase of consumption levels, the original of the service model can no longer meet enterprise needs because of its inefficient management, it is necessary to adopt a new approach of highly efficient and stable for instead, the wireless ordering terminal undoubtedly solved the problem.This paper is based on the research work of the design of the wireless ordering terminal. It introduces the current development status and trends of the wireless ordering terminal firstly. Then according to system requirements analysis, it brings up the overall design. And then it elaborates the design methods in detail from two parts of the hardware design and software-driven design, including the design of the power, network and standard interface on system design, and the system network, USB interface and the wireless module device driver method on software. Finally the paper provides a system test and results.Base on the study of the previous ones in this field, the paper designed and implemented a wireless ordering terminal system.The hardware design is base on embedded processor PXA270 core, including the necessary storage devices and standard interfaces, together constitute the framework of the hardware. On the software side, it introduced the platform of embedded Linux operation system, and it designed and implemented the bootloader, the root file system and some devices drivers. The system meets the hardware needs of both food and beverage enterprises and the customers. Just a simple development of the upper applications can provide a convenience interface for our customers.Currently, the system provides a common platform, it is a stable and reliable operation in the test and can be consider to put into the market after modified.
