This paper, making the Android mobile terminals as the client and writing the systemserver terminal with Java Web technology, researched and implemented a wireless orderingsystem based on Android. The system adopts the object-oriented design thought. The clientuses the Android platform based on Linux operating system: application-writing mainly usesobject-oriented Java language, while data storage uses SQLite database. Server terminaladopts Tomcat server: date storage uses MySQL database, database operating uses JDBC andresponse to client requests uses Servlet. This system applying the MVC design pattern makesthe communications between objects more clearly by separating the user interface design andthe program’s business logic.Android is a mobile phone open source operating system released by Google. Putforward the Android-based wireless ordering system, through the research of wireless cateringplatform. This paper carries on the function design, database design and interface design ofthe system, focus on the technology, theory, software working platform and implementationmethod used to implement the system. In the end, we make some relevant test about systemfunction. Above all, this paper mainly finished below work:First of all, this paper studies the development of modern catering industry, at the sametime, introduces the development of mobile phones and data transmission technology, andanalyzes the architecture of Android system, and further analyzes the Android applicationcomponents. Secondly, this system carries on the detailed demand analysis, system design andthe overall function module design of ordering system; modeling on system importantmodules uses UML modeling method, including case diagram, activity diagram and sequencediagram. Finally, the system completes the core modules of ordering system, namely ordermodule, update module, collection module and the detailed design of database and codeimplementation, and shows the operation result through the way of the screenshot. It showsthe module working normally and has good interoperability, stability and real-timeperformance, after analyzed and explained the result. Therefore, has a broad market prospect...
