A wireless data acquisition and monitoring system based on PXA270 processor and embedded Linux and CC1110 communication modules is designed in this thesis. Timely and effective monitoring and perception of information (such as temperature, humidity, flow, etc) is the key factors to make production automotive and intelligent on industrial application occasions. The traditional cable communication mode of data acquisition system has been difficult to meet the requirement of automation control in the environment where humidity and temperature changes sharply, dirty air is corrosive and toxic. Analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of existing cable data acquisition system and combining the characters of wireless data acquisition and monitoring system, such as the short information frame, the frequent communication, the coexistence of periodic communication and non-periodic communication, the fast response and the data with higher security level, etc, there are wired and wireless communication modes in the system. On one hand, the way of the wireless communication works in 433MHz frequency band which is free. The frequency-hopping technology and timesharing polling communication mode are adopted in communication. On the other hand, the cable parts can communicate by RS485 mode. So a good data acquisition and monitoring system with good environmental adaptability, accurate and rapid response will be realized.Embedded database SQLite is used to maintain and manage batch data that are sampled with frequency-hopping, timesharing polling communication mode by CC1110 wireless communication modules on the master module based on embedded Linux. In order to solve the dilemma of the shortage of parallelism and real-time of embedded system database, the simplest solution which can get rid of the limitation is adopted on the basis of analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of SQLite. According to different authorities, user could realize the functions of the real-time monitoring and query via user interface software and IC card.The test result indicates that the application of SQLite make the system run with a higher efficiency and reliability. It can be widely used in industry control field and remote monitoring system and so on.
